Vehicle Description
This is a stunning replica of the 'ultimate'.... The AC Cobra!
Built by an aircraft engineer over a 2 year period starting in 1995 and completed 1997 over on the Isle of Man.
The attention to detail is amazing!
The car was built using the Pilgrim Sumo Mk2 kit, originally registered using the donor car (1979 V Ford Cortina ) and retained the V Registration.
When it was imported into the UK, the DVLA has issued a P 1997 registration number which is a much better rather than a Q plate as many were.
Finished in Ferrari Rosso red with contrasting tan leather upholstery with red piping .
Powered by a fully recondition Essex 3.0 V6 with a manual 4 speed gear box and Granada running gear. New stainless steel straight through twin exhausts which gives the car a fabulous sound.
It has a comprehensive history file including build costs and receipts recorded in a project folder.
The car was then imported in to Britain in October 2014.
The current owner gave the car the full once over spending in excess of £4000, including a fully re-trimmed leather interior.
The car has covered just over 3400 miles since it was originally built in 1997. Included in the sale is the full weather pack, which includes, tonneau cover, roof and side windows.
If you want to join the AC Cobra enthusiasts you will not be disappointed in owning this one!
A truly one off car which has been lovingly cherished and always garaged.
